Using Timeout.

Timeout is provided by Lani Technologies Limited to help you manage voluntary app boundaries and movement breaks. Cloud accounts and accountability circles are currently for adults aged 18 or over.

Your account

Use an email account you control. Keep sign-in codes and access tokens private. Do not impersonate another person, attempt to access their records, or use invitations to monitor someone without their knowledge.

Your choices and wellbeing

Choose movements appropriate for you and your surroundings. Stop if a movement causes pain or discomfort. Manual alternatives and emergency access are available. Timeout is not medical care, an emergency service, or a guarantee that phone use will be prevented.

Limits and records

App restrictions depend on Apple authorization and operating-system behavior. Movement and learning records may be reported by your device or entered manually. Access minutes granted are not measured usage. Circle members only receive the categories and period you choose to share; circles do not create parental authority.

Availability and changes

We may correct errors, update features, or suspend accounts used for abuse. Network or platform failures may delay backup. Keep any records you need using the in-app export. Material changes to data use require updated notice and consent where applicable.

Leaving

You can sign out, stop sharing, leave a circle, or delete your account in the app. The privacy notice explains data handling and recovery retention. These terms do not exclude rights that applicable law gives you.
